Read about our latest activity, Biomimicry 101. There, the content of this initiative was tested with a group of professionals and students over the course of 3 days in the city of Granada.

Free and open-to-the-public annual outreach events are held, where environmental policy-makers are also invited to participate. These conferences aim to disseminate the fundamental principles of biomimetics, along with specific details of the project and its significance in relation to European values.

These events have greatly increased the project's impact and have helped build a community of individuals interested in biomimetics, which is expected to endure beyond the project's completion.

Training events have been organized for adults aiming to work in biomimetic design. During these sessions, the effectiveness of the materials developed by the Biotable project has been tested, achieving remarkable results: over 95% of participants reported a high level of satisfaction, and more than 90% indicated that they would continue to apply and expand biomimetic concepts in their daily professional work.

These activities have significantly enhanced the visibility of the project and underscored the relevance of biomimetics as an innovative approach to design.

During these sessions, presenters from different fields shared inspiring topics related to biomimicry, allowing room for questions and debate. When it was possible, these sessions were carried outside to give the chance to participants to spend some hours looking at nature in new ways.
